1. Shampoo: Start with wet hair, apply shampoo primarily to the scalp, and lather well. Rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of shampoo.
2. Conditioner: Apply conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair, avoiding the scalp to prevent greasiness. Leave it on for a few minutes for better absorption before rinsing off.
3. Bodywash: After rinsing out the conditioner, use body wash for your body. Apply it on a loofah, washcloth, or directly onto your skin, lather, and then rinse well.
4. Do a final rinse of your entire body and hair with lukewarm or cool water to remove any remaining product residue and to help close hair cuticles.
5. Gently towel-dry your hair and body. Avoid rubbing your hair with the towel to prevent damage and frizz.
